First Jury Trial Win
On July 31, 2024, Stephanie A. Marrero secured her first jury trial win for her client, Jordan Porter.
On December 13, 2019, Kenya Porter and Jordan Porter were involved in a rear end accident on I-65 in Birmingham, Alabama. Kenya Porter filed a lawsuit against Jordan Porter, State Farm Mutual Insurance Company, and Allstate for physical damages, loss wages, and pain and suffering. Kenya Porter claimed she missed six weeks of work and had to attend multiple doctors appointments as a result of the accident.
In closing statements, the plaintiff asked the jury to return a verdict for $250,000 for the plaintiff. After deliberating for approximately thirty minutes, the jury returned a defense verdict in favor of Jordan Porter.
